A free esports education and player-development program that turns gaming into a practical classroom for communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and responsible competition.
Program purpose
Beginner to Pro provides structured classes led by qualified instructors. Participants build game fundamentals while practicing transferable skills that support success in school, work, community life, and responsible competition.
The program is educational rather than commercial. It does not promise professional placement, team recruitment, prize earnings, or employment.
Program design
Classes are offered without participant fees to reduce financial barriers and broaden community access.
Classes are generally offered twice per month, with a recommended eight-session cohort cycle.
Groups of 10–30 participants allow instructors to provide organized, age-appropriate, mission-aligned teaching.
Curriculum
Goals, expectations, code of conduct, healthy gaming, and a baseline self-assessment.
Controls, movement, mechanics, terminology, and deliberate practice.
Game awareness, matchup knowledge, resource management, and planning.
Clear callouts, active listening, constructive feedback, and conflict prevention.
Roles, shared goals, trust, accountability, and adaptation.
Match analysis, decision-making, adjustment, and resilience.
Preparation, sportsmanship, time management, and pressure control.
Skill demonstration, peer support, feedback, and next-step planning.
Who it serves
Youth, students, emerging adults, amateur competitors, and community members seeking introductory or developmental esports education.
Enrollment may use first-come selection, a documented waitlist or lottery, or published priority criteria when demand exceeds capacity.
Priority may be given to applicants with limited access to coaching, equipment, technology, transportation, or comparable educational opportunities.
Each cohort announcement will identify the game title, skill level, age range, schedule, format, accessibility information, and equipment requirements. Minors require parent or guardian consent.
